This is my local bar/ restaurant. It's location is in tge stunning square of Villereal! Great lunchtime menus and evening meals at very affordable prices! Well worth a visit.

Le Moderne
A first rate little café to stop for a bite while touring the Bastides in this part of the Dordogne region. I had an entrecote, well cooked. My wife had a salad with warm cabecou cheese, a regional specialty. Pleasant service. We sat outside across for the 14th century market hall. There were two others in our party. I don’t remember what they had, but we left happy.

Family run bar and cafe. Limited menu but service and food were very good. Visited a vouple of times for coffee/beer and lunch. Nice place just to watch world go by and be served by people who seem to care.
