Either it was August and the best waiters and cooks were away on vacation, or this place has passed their prime. Waiter wasn’t very pleasant around most everything and first time ever didn’t say thank you or goodbye on our way out. Vegetables were soggy, potatoes unprofessionally peeled and the entrecôte was very fatty and poorly cooked.
Other than a good wine recommendation, this would get two stars... not going back and I suspect others who go will do the same.

We liked everything from this place: position on the Boulevard, online table reservation, friendly and accurate service, menu's choices, high quality of food and cooking, wine list and delicious desserts.
Prices reasonable.
Of course it's a brasserie and not a starred restaurant, but one of the best we experienced in Bordeaux.

A lovely bistro. White tablecloths and professional waiters. Good menu, well cooked and nicely presented. A cut above the usual bistro. Great value for money.

Most Professional service in town, recommendation for dining is the veal kidney and the artichocke.
Rosé wine is a perfect choice to celebrate a relaxing evening .

Excelent location. Excelent wine and fresh food with a variety of prices. "Plat de jour 15.50 €" !
Attentive service and of course Mme Marie-Th'erese creating a very nice ambience with her presence. My favourite place in Bordeaux!

Very convenient location and a charming dining room. However on my visit in November 2016, my experience was extremely disappointing due to an unacceptable response from the kitchen to a problem I had with my main course. I ordered scallops with fresh cèpes (€33). The cèpes were very gritty. Clearly they had not been washed properly. My excellent waiter took them away and returned from the kitchen with the message from chef to "order something else as they will all be like that". Well the chef was right as to the "consistency" as later in the evening , the people two tables up from me said they had exactly the same problem with their scallop dish, but unlike me did not send it back. This response from the kitchen was inexcusable and to send out gritty vegetables is just plain silly. This is one of the tasks for first and second year apprentices for heavens sake! Stars are for location, dining room and front of house service.
