Really good food. Kids menu sounds like what you would expect but with real ingredients cooked by an actual chef! Highly recommended.

This is definitely the best restaurant in Briare. The staff are welcoming and all speak English. Last Saturday I had had a very trying journey to Briare on my boat; I phoned them to reserve a table for myself, if possible, and Florence la patronne said she could squeeze me in somewhere, for which I was very grateful. The meal was all one could wish, pate de foie gras, an entrecote steak, cheese and a poached pear. The chef, Jean-Paul, always produces excellent food. The pichet of Brouilly I drank was delicious! It is recommended that you book earlier than I did...they are often full, which means that simply walking in may not work!!

Restaurant sans mauvais surprise. La qualité et la quantité sont toujours au rendez-vous. Cadre et accueil très agréable. Le meilleur de Briare.

Hier dimanche, nous sommes arrivés à deux, en moto vers 13 h 40 sans réserver, accueil impeccable, la patronne est très avenante et aux petits soins pour ses clients. Déjeuner avec le menu à 26 €, les œufs pochés au saumon, l'andouillette servie avec une sauce légère et des frites excellentes, la crème brûlée et les cafés tout était parfait et excellent. Le personnel très agréable, restaurant bien tenu. Bon conseils de la part de la patronne pour visiter les canaux et le pont-canal. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse. Dès que l'on rentre dans ce restaurant, cela sent bon la bonne cuisine.

Very expensive and overcrowded. No seperate male/female toilet facilities. Staff can be rude at times. No wheelchair access.

Everything here was more than superb, from the very friendly, helpful, staff/owners, (who all spoke perfect English) to the wonderful service, ambience and the vast variety of excellent food and wine available.
