Was shocked by electricity in a room. Touched a light switch on a lamp and my finger went completely numb. Cheap light fixtures...not installed by a proper electrician. Condom over smoke detector. Dirty room. Makes me sick to think about even staying there. Was charged for a full stay. Unacceptable. What a mistake....

We loved every detail of the rooms. The art, the knick knacks, the record player complete with a selection of classic vinyl, and even the soaps and shampoos in the shower all reflected a very laid back and vintage atmosphere that is very appropriate to the history of the Pigalle area. The bed is among the most comfortable I have ever had at a hotel. The staff was very friendly and spoke fluent English. We definitely plan to stay here again next time we are in Paris.

The best hotel I've experienced. The staff are personal and friendly yet professional and welcoming. The rooms are beautifully decorated with curated personality and chic without having to sacrifice their comfort. Their beds are also beyond comfortable!!!
For visiting Paris this hotel is a must (not to mention the location is great and the neighbourhood has so much to offer!).
Having stayed for both business and pleasure I've seen the hotel from both sides and the passion and standards don't fall on either.
They're also amazing with babies/children!
I now judge ever hotel by this one - and so far it's a standard that few even come close to!
I could go on and on about every detail that makes it so great but instead I recommend you go try it and have your own wonderful experience!

hip and lively. lots of collaboration with the surrounding community, which had undergone your text book transformation from seedy to trendy. breakfast is a la carte. good food and drinks. meeting spot for locals. metro and organic grocery store

Not a 4-star hotel. It is comparable to other 3-star hotels in Paris. It is also used as a party bar and very loud music can be playing until past midnight. The service is not on par with a high-end hotel. The rooms are small but the bathrooms are nice for Europe.

had booked this hotel based on the great reviews and the price. It didn't occur to me at purchase time that a 4 star hotel would have bunk beds so pay attention (staff recommended a 50€/night upgrade to queen at th hotel). We decided since we could both fit on the lower double bed and we only had 2 days left of our trips/which we planned to mostly spend outside we would deal with it. We arrived late Friday night to a loud party which was fine (very lively) but they put our room above it (even though they had other rooms available). When I asked to change our room (mind you this is 11:45 pm), the response was "it will only be about another hour of the loud music, you can get ready for now no?" !!! They changed our room to 4th floor so it was quiet. The room was very small but clean. The bathroom and shower were nice and clean with organic soaps. overall though not the best value for the money. We stayed at another 3 star hotel in Paris just the weekend before this and spent less as well. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel.

Boutique hotel with rooms on the smaller side compared to North American standards. Modern contemporary and hipster decor, including iPad, TV, and speaker in all rooms. Hotel has a small bar/diner downstairs that is reasonable. Close to 24hr fast food options, McDonald's, etc. 50m from Pigalle metro station. Very reasonable prices.
