Room Tip: Rooms with balcony access are very nice for happy hour!

It was also relaxing to take a break from "working" on our French, because hosts Danny and Kerry speak English better than French. The breakfasts were very healthy and tasty. For a reasonable additional charge, they also prepared a delicious 5 course vegetarian dinner accompanied by interesting travel conversations well into the evening. They charmingly introduced us to their delightful twin children as they bid us "adieu et bonne nuit".

Far enough from the highway to be very quiet and peaceful, it is not too far from the charms of nearby Fleurance, Lectoure, Condom and the Armagnac tasting chateauxs.

Belle Bâtisse des années 1914 très bon accueil par un couple fort sympathique petit déjeuner simple mais copieux chambre propre...petit bémol literie un peu veillote chambre sans TV. mais pour une nuit pas gênant..piscine avec transat...belle propriété

We discovered this gem while looking for a B&B stay while visiting nearby family, and we loved it. In addition to what the pictures show and other reviewers have said, we really enjoyed long walks on the road, by fields, wildflowers and quaint farmsteads. The pretty sunflowers bloom in July, though July and August are much busier at Le Piot. We also enjoyed watching the cows coming down to drink from the River Gers.

In the future we hope to stay at more places like this, and less in big cities.
