The food is great and worth the price. The wine is a little more expensive then surrounding restaurants but they do offer it by the glass. Dessert was especially delicious.

The restaurant looked quite nice and proposed a "better" cuisine. We had to revise our opinion when it came to a first contact with the waitress. She wasn´t eager nor competent.
Mistook the redcurrant with blueberry. Maybe she had a bad day.
The meal was below mediocre. Filet mignon avec roquefort without roquefort in a "bucket" sauce.
Tough, dry meat and hardly handwarm veg.Microwave with a too short setting?
A real joke were the pommes frites (french fries). In belgium cooks will be dragged by their feet through the village, when daring to serve such wishy-washy unsalted "selfmade" fries. We found the particular form (u-shaped) all over normandy.
We accept higher prices in france, because normally the "raw materials" are better then elsewhere.
But here, even our tip with roughly 2% was too much. Every trucker-restaurant serves better meals!
The 2 stars are for the fantastic site at the cathedral. A wonderful, authentic flair!!!
We enjoyed our stay in Bayeux anyway.

We had a lovely meal! The staff spoke enough English to help us get by. Two vegetarian options (hard to come by!) - I had the polenta which was excellent and the creme brûlée - delish. We had some great wine, too. Beautiful restaurant - would highly recommend it!

Ian and I stopped here for lunch before heading to he beaches. We had a wonderful plate of muscles and shared the seafood plater. The food was well cooked and very fresh The staff was kind and the prices were reasonable.

Goede krab en oesters, goede en betaalbare wijnkaart verder heel duidelijk formuleren hoe je een vleesbereiding wilt. Dat ging bij mij minder maar werd wel heel snel opgelost. Super goede saus ook!!

Recommended by our hotel and it did not disappoint. Delicious Traditional chicken with cream, mushroom, and bacon, followed up by an excellent creme brûlée.

Wonderful food. Great shellfish. The menu describes where each of the types of food came from. Slightly whimsical/eclectic/modern but still comfortable decor. There seemed to be a lot of Americans when I was there.
