Always wanted to visit, very disappointed. Too touristy, too 'managed'. I don't really know why I'm surprised, it's a big business, but it spoiled my dream.

The restaurant is great with a special of dinner and buffet breakfast for 45€. This is a steal. The hostess is friendly.
However, the shower head in my room (113) had a broken host and water leaked from the joint near the host and shower head. I had reported to the front desk (10:15pm); but the staff said no one can help until tomorrow. Also the hotel did not provide toothbrush or toothpaste.

The booking said this place was a 9.4. So why not right. But first they made us wait at least 1 hour at the front gate. Then another 1 hour trying to check in us because they gave our room to someone else. And because noone speaks English this process was even harder. At last they gave us a room and when we went up there the balcony door was completely open and thinking that it is 1am in the morning and the temperature was -6 degrees it was not really nice. And finally we saw a 3 meter long spider web right above the bed. We called the reception and tried to explain it. Finally we managed to bring up someone to show it (because noone ever understood) and the guy killed the spider with a brush. They made a little discount but still was a quite bad experience on a new years eve day.

Superb rooms, very affordable and exceptional service. Close to the Mont, incredible views all around. Absolutely adore

Great architecture and views from the outside. Not much to see in empty rooms. Quite a hike to get to the top. The village with shops and restaurants are great to stop by and check.

Le Relais Saint-Michel had great service. The food was excellent.

Food was decent, it was quite expensive. But given the location it was at, I think it is reasonable. The service was not that great due to the restaurant having alot of guests.
