Le Viand'Art is in fact a boucherie with a a small restaurant at one end of it and as you can imagine specialises in meat dishes. We stopped off here for lunch after visiting Piegut market on a Wednesday morning. They have a full range of meat on the menu but it does depend on what is available that day. The cooking is simple but delicious. We had a small very good faux filet each (thank goodness we didn't have the large one - it must be enormous) with a galette of potatoes and lardons and the most delicious cepes mustard. We could have had vegetables instead. There is a small dessert menu but we were just too full. The service was charming. Note the opening hours. We got there at 12.30 and they closed when we left. Official opening is until 1pm, re-opening at 3.30 until 7pm. A no brainer if you like a good steak.

On devrait décorer les chaleureux propriétaires de cette belle maison qui évite à ce village de mourir. L'accueil y est chaleureux et les produits proposés de grande qualité.
