Busy restaurant in the middle of St Emilion. Food was great. hot camembert starter followed by lamprey stew... Wow. Recommended.

Nice location on the terrace on a sunny day fro lunch. The menu du jour was reasonably priced and the food very nice. The service left a little to be desired and for the price even in a tourist town not up to scratch. Pleasant but not great

The beautiful setting for this restaurant encouraged us to eat lunch here before going on our wine tour. The food presentation was excellent and the taste was superb!! Unfortunately the serving staff were negligible, the worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. The female servers were not very friendly and appeared to be overwhelmed.
My experience while traveling throughout France for the past two months and eating in restaurants on a daily basis is that as soon as customers are seated, the serving staff brings a bottle of water and a basket of bread and then comes back within 5 minutes to take food and drink orders.
Not at Les Giron'dines in Saint Emilion, Even though we asked for water, we waited 15 minutes for it to arrive.
From start to finish we were at the restaurant for over 90 minutes and missed our wine tour. The service was incredibly slow. We ordered the daily special thinking this would be the quickest option, but unfortunately it wasn't.
The food is delicious, but the owners should really improve on the serving staff.

The lunch set was excellent! Despite of a cloudy weather, it's one of the simple but fantastic meal I had in southern France. Food really matters.

Great food but bad service. The locale is great, very nice terrace. The lunch menu of the day was excellent, we were informed that duck was out and if we would accept chicken instead. Fair enough. However, all other service was stressed and completely superficial. All in all, average.

My god...such a restaurant should not exist. Lunch on the terrasse,...à not-so-bad meal but really too expensive for the served quantity of chicken. But the worst is the qualité of service...awful!! My god...I tend to be a cool customer but the only thing I ask for in return is respect, and all servers are on The same Line of considering tourists as non important people...oh I was so much disappointed that I asked to the neighbourhood their feeling about it...and then confirmed the trap...when I am in à good restaurant I comment it...when in a Bad...too! Plenty of other restaurants in The area
