Considering Lyon’s impressive reputation as the capital of French cuisine, it seemed like a good idea to take a culinary tour and the one which most attracted me was led by Localers. Our local guide for the day was the charming Clemence. She's not only an epicurean, but she's also a professional history guide who really knows the history of Lyon. As we explored the city with her she effortlessly told us its story. It was really impressive! And then there was the food. I just don’t know where to begin, it was all so delicious, especially the wine and cheese tasting!

We took two tours on back-to-back days and enjoyed both of our experiences. Ana was great, very informative and full of charisma for the Darkside of Paris. At the end of the three hours it was as if we had been long time friends. Keeping with the theme, we had Alberto take us through the Catacombs. He was patient and kept the large group organized and informed all while in the dark, several stories below the city.

The Localers Flea Market tour is one of the best experiences I've had in Paris so far. Charlotte was an excellent guide, highly informative and always ready to offer her ideas on everything from vintage clothing and jewellery to Hermès scarves and old postcards. Highly recommended!

We highly recommend Localers should you want the inside scoop in a personal, inviting experience.

We spent a long weekend in Paris on a girls trip. We had all been to Paris before and seen the usual sights. We wanted a different experience this time round and so we contacted The Localers to bring us deeper into the heart of Parisian life and style. Our guide was amazing and he seemed to instinctively know what we would enjoy! We visited the flea markets and quirkier sides of Paris that otherwise we would never have known to visit. We ate in fantastic cafés. And importantly we felt well looked after and safe. I couldn't recommend The Localers enough.

I've taken three tours with them over the past two years, their tours consistently offer unique surprises exclusive to Localers tour goers. The French Revolution tour is simply not to be missed. I've somehow always ended up touring with Corey, he's unfailingly prepared, professional, enthusiastic and genuinely fun...he'll regale you with history, legend, and Paris tips galore!

I've been living in Paris for nearly one year now and with the Paris Dark Side Tour, I've learned much more cool things about Paris than in twelve months by myself! Thanks a lot Localers for all these discoveries and special thanks to Alberto, a truly creative and passionate (italian :- ) guide of Paris! I definitely recommend Localers, even for french people!!!

French Revolution Tour was a great way to see historic Paris without dragging the kids to more museums.
