Only hotel in the village but I would prefer to sleep out in a tent than have to endure the rudeness and bad temper of the staff. It was a dreadful experience. I would avoid. Other French people were very pleasant and welcoming.

Lovely location, and very nearby the Chateaux la Durantie (20 min walk). Perfect if you're attending a wedding or event in the Chateaux. However if you plan on spending some time there, eating and drinking, and are an English speaker, you will likely be treated very badly, as we were. The owner (older woman) and the younger woman (only English speaker) were incredibly rude to us throughout our stay. We made an attempt to speak French, and minor errors resulted in laughter and them walking away not serving us. We have since moved to an AirBnb and would recommend the same to anyone who prefers to be treated with some dignity.

auberge et cuisine traditionnelle excellente....j ai bien aimé l humour pince sans rire du patron....le foie gras maison est excellent!

Great spot for a hotel with lovely scenery. However, I'd recommend staying in any of the neighbouring fields as they'd be far more hospitable. In this hotel, not speaking French means not eating, and speaking French poorly gets you kicked out. Every other part of this place is perfect but if you don't speak French don't step foot in this dive

Great little location and the food is good, however, one of the owners requires an exorcism. It's nice to be nice. This chick missed that day at school.

While attending a wedding at the beautiful chateau la durantie at the weekend. We decided to check out the local hotel/bar.the location was great.25 min walk from chateau. Village quaint and pretty. At the hotel food was very good. But unfortunately the staff (mother and daughter) were so rude and disrespectful to customers. We figured out later that it was more than likely because we couldn't speak French. They don't seem to like English speaking (we were irish) !!! Unfortunately for English speaking there is only 1 hotel in this beautiful village.
On a good note there is a shop up the village with the lady owner and I presume her son.. who could not have been more than helpful to us.. driving us to and from the chateau..it's a pity this lady doesn't own the hotel as she would be a very busy lady with lots of customers!!!

Deze zaak heeft qua sfeer een hoog 'Fawlty Towers'-gehalte.
De bediening is ongelooflijk attent.

There's a little pizza place in down where the staff are approachable and nice, the supermarket staff are also amazing.
