The reason I gave this hotel 5 stars is "Solene". From the minute I came in, she began solving problems for me. I was having problems with charging my camera, problems with reservations to my next hotel, and problems with credit cards. Her smiling face and helpful attitude was something I still remember after returning home. She gave this American a wonderful impression of French people and how they want tourist to have a wonderful vacation. (You need to give Solene a raise!)

Très bonne adresse pour un repas romantique ou un déjeuner d'affaires. Personnel accueillant, établissement entretenu.

Out of all of our hotels in France this was one of our (if not the) favourite! We were received with warmth and I had sent a quick email months before our arrival regarding hair dryers (so I wouldn't have to pack one) and it was waiting for me on our arrival. Although there was a bit of a language barrier (I'm not fluent in french), we made it through with some basics and some hand gestures and miming. All in good fun and everyone was helpful and amicable. We received a beautiful double suite for a very low price and the unit was very clean, with a view of the cathedral and the city. Lovely. We stayed in Chartres for only one night, but would stay longer if we get the opportunity to return, and we would lay our heads down at this hotel once again. Prime location, friendly staff :)

Chambres spacieuses et confortables, bien insonorisées près de la gare et du centre ville. Personnel très professionnel et à l'écoute. Rien à redire tout est ok
