This hotel we've been revisiting over the years. Last time we stayed in a completely renewed modern room.
The quality of the gourmet restaurant was like before fantastic and we also like the buffet breakfast.
Remember to also reserve a table in the always busy restaurant.
The hotel is situated in a small street in the hart of the old citadel of Langres. That causes the only downside: the lack of parking facilities. However, upon reservation one can claim one of the limited parking spaces in the hotel garage. We advice to do that!
Staff is attentive and the owner speaks fluent english.
This it is certainly not a budget hotel, maybe even a bit expensive but it is absolutely worth a detour.
We'll be back again when travelling to the south of France.

Good meals with extraordinary desserts that have been impressive art. It was a recommendation by our host and turned out to be quick, with okay service and quality food. The place is recommended. We have been there with 4 people.

We stayed here overnight in September last year. The staff were really helpful and very polite - nothing was too much trouble, The hotel itself is a very old building which was once an abbey and the character has been maintained throughout the hotel. All mod cons were still available and service was excellent. The evening meal in their beautiful restaurant was good value and very good. Being in the ancient heart of the town is fantastic and you can easily walk to many interesting places in under 10 minutes. The views to the east from the town walls are worth visiting the town for alone. If you are in a car make sure you book a place in the garage as public parking is a fair way from the hotel due to it being in the medieval village so it is a good walk with luggage. I can't wait to go back.

The rooms were fantastic and the staff all very friendly
