Delicious food, great service and away from the hordes of people in the old town. Would recommend a visit as food is also reasonably priced but may be sensible to book at weekends

After having a very good lunch here, we returned and had an exceptional dinner. We had a wonderful organic white wine, zucchini blossom fritters as an appetizer and two fabulous entrees with a dessert. The staff were exceedingly helpful, from suggesting the perfect Provençal wine to introducing us to Limoncello! An evening to remember. One of the very best meals of our long vacation in France!

I think I had pretty high expectations so it wasn't quite as amazing as I'd hoped. My partner ordered a truffle menu though I found the salad portion less exciting. Seemed to be raw artichoke (very crunchy but not so flavourful) and I found the truffle difficult to taste in this dish. My arribiata was great. No complaints. Good. I'd give it a 3.5

It started out great - this restaurant was just around the corner from our hotel and we had an hour before out next engagement so decided to stop by for a quick bite of Italian fare. Service was impeccable, menu interesting and prices quite reasonable (by Nizza standards). The starters came in a flash and the wine recommendation worked out great. After the starters however we sat and waited for the main dish for 45 minutes until I finally had enough and went to talk to the waiter, who looked very surprised that our food hadn't arrived and promised to be with us in a minute. A minute passed, then another and 10 more and nobody even looked in our direction. Then, afte4 about 50 minutes of idle waiting finally one main dish arrived, with the other still missing. I refused to accept the food at this point and asked for the bill, which arrived promptly but wasnt accompanied by a single word of apology. What a shame, the beginning looked so promising.

Great food and pleasant staff. Don't order the assortment, it's not as good as it sounds.
