Fantastic views from the observation deck across Paris, and all the major landmarks are visible. There's also an open-air section above that you could easily miss as the signs aren't prominent but it's well worth a look, especially at sunset. Decent cafe and gift shop on the same level as the observation deck. A must-see for any Paris visit.

There are plenty of tourists waiting on the outside and taking pictures. Beware of people that will strike up a brief conversation with you to ask for money. It is free to enter the main part of the building. You have to pay for a tour and to see the bells in the towers. I heard that it is a spectacular view up there but never got a chance because of the long line.

Do not be put off by the distance between this landmark and all the others Paris has to offer! It affords a detailed and far-reaching panorama of the cityscape. Almost every Parisian sight-to-see can be seen from its viewing gallery. Not for those with a fear of heights! A breathtaking view!

One of the most beautiful views of Paris can be seen from this ugly, asbestos-contaminated tower. In the US, asbestos was banned in 1973. In France, it wasn't banned until 1997. Now, in 2017, 20 years after the (very late) French ban, they still haven't cleaned up the Tour Montparnasse. If you're just visiting as a tourist, it's fine, but I definitely would never rent business space here. On the positive side, Paris recently picked a renovation plan for the tower, and it will (eventually) look less ugly and be less dangerous for your health. Nice view though.

Just an amazing view. Nice bar on the top. But not so much fun. Sometimes big queues but when we went was really easy. If you want to see Paris from the top and avoid waiting to go to Eiffel Tower. Montparnasse Tower is the perfect alternative.

This is a must see if you go to Paris. The building is huge and the style is amazing. The entire building is covered in wonderful statues.

Tour Montparnasse, 210 meters high. Views are spectacular. At the top you can sit back in comfortable chairs, purchase and sip champagne. You can't do that at the Eiffel Tower.

Got there near closing time, but they still let me in. Was able to get a full-size tripod and DSLR through security with no problems. The observation deck gave a fantastic view of Paris, but the glass screens make it awkward for photographers. The ticket was 17 euro which isn't bad value.

The views upstairs are great. Nice view of the the Eiffel Tower. Unfortunately, no view from the lift, which would have been amazing given how fast it travels up (58 stories in 38 seconds). The Tower itself (inside and outside) is ugly.

Breathtaking and incredible view of Paris especially during the sunset. Great shortstop after long day to wonder and enjoy the scenery. And the best thing about Montana's Tower is that when you are on it you get incredible views and you don't see Montparnasse Tower:-)

Great views, but the cafe prices were high, especially since we had paid a reasonable amount to enter. Great photo opportunities, though, so it is worth the visit.

Restaurant Ciel De Paris is the Perfect jewel crowned at 56th floor of this tower.. This tower has many other interesting avenues to explore..
Unparalleled view of Eiffel Tower from top, can't be missed..

Very nice 360 view over the city. Went by night and there was surprisingly little amount of people. It’s magnificent to see the millions of light Paris has by night. A bit costy: 15 euro per person, but at the same time it makes sure that it’s not crowded...

Service was happening on the inside so we had to be quiet. The inside is gorgeous also. The walls are lined with displays on the history of the church and statues of religious figures. They also have a small souvenir stand in the church.

Stunning view over Paris, which is equally as tall as the Eiffel Tower. There's interactive touchscreens which explain the Paris skyline, and stairs to the very top. There's a little gap in the glass as well to take better quality pictures. Great to visit in the day and night, although at €17 entry, it's a little pricey.

There is an amazing restaurant at or near the top. Get a view for the Eiffel Tower at night. It's the best view you can get.

(Go at 20:30 so you can see the Eiffel tower sparkling at 21:00) I was super excited to view Paris from the top of this place; until they packed me in an elevator full of stinky tourists. Luckily I was able to hold my breath the 30 seconds it takes the elevator to rise 50 something stories. My ears popped. 5 stars, worth the stink.
