Lovely self catering lets near Cognac in a restored 15C water mill

We've just returned from 2 wonderful, relaxing weeks here. The site itself is beautiful and the owners have kept the charm of the mill as an everyday part of the experience. Our house had everything we needed and more and was very comfortable. The swimming pool was a major hit with our children and we all spent long afternoons either splashing around or lying under the sunshades reading. For shopping and entertainment there is a little village about 5 mins walk away and Cognac is only 15 mins drive. Laura and Rowan were great hosts and the kids were delighted with the presence of Remy, their adorable black lab. Have to say, this is an excellent holiday spot !!

The Moulin de chazotte is the perfect place to stay if you are in the cognac area of poitou charentes France... Bob and Jane are superb hosts and the Moulin has a great pool and superb accommodation, it is only 10 mins from cognac and ideally located for day trips to the beautiful towns in the surrounding area..10/10
