Beautiful museum located in an old cloister which is worth walking around in by itself. When temperatures rise in summer, the Hall of Paintings is sometimes closed for visitors in the afternoon. Go early or call in advance. The Hall is worth it.

Great place, great paintings. First Sunday of the month is free to visit, like most museums in toulouse.

We really liked the museum and the church. The convent is beautiful and the art collection is great, primarily French gothic and Renaissance, although you can find a lot of neoclassicism in the bigger rooms. Highly recommended.

The historical building in itself is worth visiting. Moreover, permanent exhibitions are diverse and interesting. Temporary exhibitions are often well-introduced.

This shouldn't be missed whilst visiting Toulouse. Well presented pieces, clean, quiet and friendly staff. Some really interesting collections, most info is written in french but for 2 euros you can get an audio device for English. Pictured us 'The Musée des Augustins' collection of Romanesque sculpture is composed mainly of remnants from the three most significant religious buildings in Toulouse: the Monastery of La Daurade, the Collegiate Church of Saint Sernin and SaintEtienne Cathedral.' aka a cool room.

Truly a wonderful museum of Toulouse. Museum entry free 12 Euro per adult and school or college concession available in the entry free. Some world class oil painting and collection of old historical items in one place. Must watch place in Toulouse. Highly Recommended.

Yes! What a place! Don't expect a huge exhibition but what it lacks in volume, it makes up for in quality and a unique setting. A former monastery, now gallery, creates an awesome blend of history and the curators have done a great job of presenting some ancient exhibits in a contemporary way. Really loved this place and it's even worth bringing your lunch to enjoy the courtyard garden

Beautiful building with inside garden. Old monastery turned museum. A lot of unique sculptures and impressive paintings. Great way to spend an afternoon.

Greeted by friendly staff, free cloakroom, and the place is near empty. There is an incredible array of sculpture here. I've been most interested in the column capitals which I've never been able to see up close before. The small cloister was a beautiful place to stop for a snack.
