I picked to visit this wax museum just because there was a 'bundle ticket' (available online) for Cineaqua and Musée Grévin with a rather attractive discount, and the young one on the journey with us had so determined to visit the Aquarium, like in many other cities.

Many statues of wax to see. The rooms are also well decorated. To have !

Small and expensive. Very little space for exhibits and visitors.Boring compulsory Palais des lumieres show. Lot of uninteresting french local celebrities.

It was a good surprise again!

Must visit
The Musée Grévin now contains some 450 characters arranged in scenes from the history of France and modern life, including a panorama of bloody scenes of the French revolution movie stars, and international figures such as Albert Einstein Obama, Jackie Chen, and many TV and film stars. The tableau of Charlotte Corday murdering Jean Paul Marat includes the actual knife and bathtub used.
New wax characters are regularly added to the Museum.

This was my first wax museum and it was amazing! Loved the entire experience and the unique aspect that a portion of it was made up of historical figures. Pours you out onto a cute little passageway between streets. Must see, especially if you have the museum pass!

Great place! Would be 5 stars if only some celebrities were more accurate, you have a lot of French famous people from centuries and from the present aside from that the Grévin is a visit you will enjoy at all :) you even have The Voice chairs and scenario to take a couple of funny and great pictures. Lots of places to eat nearby!

It is good in terms of attractions, but nothing really different from other wax museums. A lot of celebrities and many important historical French names. The location also is nice, close to restaurants, etc. The downside is for the building, that is not prepared at all for handicapped neither parents with small children (0-2). Also the illumination is very poor to take pictures.

Really cool wax museum. I would visit again.

There was even a big Little Prince statue which was such a highlight for me!
There were also many superstars, posed in different scenes for us to photo with. It was a mix of French and international figures, so no one shall get bored.

Excellent experience, some celebrities are very well done so you can't tell if you're looking at the real person, but others are made like toys, but great place to visit, recommended

We are from the US, so we didn't recognize all the people, but WOW the figures are so realistic. We had a great time. Great setting for each figure and opportunities for photo ops with each character. Pope Francis, Pope John Paul, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Jackie Chan, Obama were a few we recognized, rest were French. Get the Paris Pass on Viator. It's included as one of 60 attractions with free entry.

Grevin wax museum is a great place to visit in Paris. It features more than 300 wax statues of famous personalities from all over the world. Price bit expensive but worth exploring the museum especially the wax statues in a relaxed manner. Worth taking selfies with your favorite stars.

Good collection, but mostly France related. Museum divided into different sections, History, Cinema, Art, Science. I liked the French History part a lot. There are internation stars, some look like what we see on-screen, like Ryan Gosling; others are a bad imitation version, like Scarlett Johannson. Visit only if you haven't been to any wax museum and want to experience the first time, otherwise can be skipped, if you are the first-timer in Paris.

So, it sounds like an 'add-on', right? But then we were thrilled, not once, but many times throughout the visit. It was nice to get to know a little more about French history, in a more leisurely, less conventional and boring way. Even the youngest one in our group enjoyed it so much and absorbed quite a lot about French history that way!

More French personalities than international but well set out into different sections of history

Unfortunately, due to the Metro delay, we had only nearly two hours to visit this museum, which was far from enough! I would love to take more photos, read more about the production of all those amazing wax statues in details, etc. So, I may visit it again next time!
