Charming history of the deep rivalry between Chartrons vs. Bordeaux wine trade, w/ knowledgeable staff & nice wine tastings at the end. Definitely worth the trip even if you've already been to the city wine museum.

Comparatively small indeed but price reasonable. It contains lots of real displayed items. The guide book in different languages is handy. At the end of tour, the wine tasting is very well organized. The lady is really hospitable and 3 different kinds of wine explained. If it can be done with more fluency in English, then it will exceed my expectation : )

Great place to visit in Bordeaux, especially for the fine staff! They will give you as much time as you wish, to explain about wine production or regions or whatever you want to know. They can help you pinpoint which wines you like best by exploring your preferences. Free tasting. They also will box up and deliver bottles I believe. The cellar is transformed into a museum.

Super interesting place to learn about the historical wine trade of Bordeaux and sample a couple local varieties. It's not very big, but provides some great information and has surprisingly interesting videos on display about the cork and barrel making processes. If you bring your student ID, it's 5€ instead of 10.

Cool little museum to check out, the cellar is full of cool displays. The tour is self guided so you can go at your own pace. The wine tasting at the end comes with a very informative history of the region and the wines that come from there. Strongly recommend for the price.

Great place to visit in Bordeaux, especially for the price (10€ per person). The wine tasting at the end of the self-guided tour was the best part, very informative. Friendly staff.

Wonderful quirky little museum dedicated to the Bordeaux wine trade, lots to see here, plus a wine tasting afterwards and the opportunity to purchase some excellent wine. The bottle fridge magnets and key rings are great, also the posters.

During my visit in Bordeaux I chose one one museum, and this was it.
Entry is 10 euro, you get a self-guide book.
The museum is not big, but you can see the history of wine inside.
At the end there is wine tasting (2 glasses of wine) and a great lecture on wine regions around the city.
I highly recommend this museum.
