Incredible staff, able to recognise us by name even after one day of staying there. Great breakfast selection and well decorated rooms

Nice hotel, friendly staff if not a bit slow and uncaring. Not amazing service but nice building, good wine cellar.

Wonderfully located in a majestic town that is so very rich in history. Clean well setup rooms with helpful staff.

I can only say I was disappointed.
Although the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the rooms were shabby at best.
My room had old, inadequate furniture with stained carpets that all appeared to be well over ten years old.
Breakfast was very good each morning, and dinner was very good at a fair price.
This place needs refurbishing.
It has such a great location, it's a shame the place is so run down.

Dining room service and food quality fell short of our expectation.

My husband and i arrived in Beaune from Paris by train and walked around town to the Hotel de la Poste. When we arrived, we were greeted by Melanie at the front desk. A delightful young woman who spoke fluent English. Our room was not ready, so she quickly switched us to another room that was ready. When we walked through the door of our room, we were so pleasantly surprised. It was quite large, had a modern bathroom with shower and tub (!) and two large french windows that opened up on the courtyard. We both agreed this was our favorite hotel we have ever stayed in. This hotel is perfectly comfortable and charming and updated, but not the least bit stuffy. I cant wait to go back and only hope Melanie will still be there. She helped us with a rental car after Expedia let us down. She made wonderful restaurant suggestions and made us feel so welcome and at home. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful as well. This is a true gem and although just outside the city wall, it is right in the middle of everything. Easy walk to all of the shops and restaurants in town. Another highlight was walking on the bike trail through the vineyards to Pomard. The bike path is a little challenging to find, but it is a beautiful 2.5 miles to this little town. All in all, Beaune will go down in our memory as 5 of the best days ever.

This was our second choice in Beaune. We arrived late and Jerome (?) at the desk was incredible at setting us up. The rest pf the staff are professional but not inspired.

They couldn't supply a refrigerator, even on a large suite. The building is an old post office and nicely refurbished in about 2006. It's on a busy street but well insulated and noise is not an issue. The room has a mini-split air conditioner that also heats. Towel bar heater in the bath is a nice shower touch but the shower is a small pre-fab stall. It is close to inner city but not inside that wall.
