I like this cathedral better than the one in Paris mainly because it isn’t crowded and you can freely wander around. It has lots of chapels to look at and beautiful music plays in the background. The story of how this cathedral came to be is interesting too. Unlike other reviewers, I actually like the blend of old and new.

Very disappointed. Really restored with a completed different style. I have seen much better ones in France

Outside the church is modern style but inside is combination with the historical.

Wow - stunning mix of the new and the old. The new exterior is very modern, while the inside maintains the stunning original architectural elements. Definitely visit when in Lille.

One of the best attractions in Lille :) ten minutes walk from the central station. Pretty close to the city center. Sometimes local people are seating nearby and enjoying their time. Nice architecture and glass windows. Worth of visiting.
