On arrival don't get too upset by the external appearance of the footpaths. They need to be maintained and cleaned up.

We went to Oceanopolis so my girlfriend could learn more about the sea life, and she loved it! Discovering all those different animals, and all the explanations along them taught us a lot. The zoo is very well organized with the different areas, and there are the feeding shows of the animals that you shouldn't miss.

Really good aquarium, better than the sea life centre in Birmingham for example, as there is more to see. Great day our for the family during a rainy day in Brittany!

A great day out, especially if the weather is a bit grey. Lots of animals and fish to see. Kids loved it

A wet day on holiday made this a great place to visit. Loads for kids to see and do and a great range of species separated in different zones e.g. tropical, polar, temperate. A good gift shop and book store. A heavy emphasis on research which was good. I give 4/5 as it was almost entirely in French and the grounds were covered in weeds which was a shame and looked shabby. Free parking, easy to get to and a good restaurant. At €72 for a family of 5 it was good value. A visit won't disappoint.

Take yourself here for a few hours. Our kids loved it. We loved it!

More importantly get inside and look around the sea life is amazing and we as adults enjoyed it.

Good facilities, restaurant is good and not too expensive. Gift shop as more than enough products to remind yourself of your trip.

The ultimate place in France to experience the extraordinary beauty of marine life at the closest possible.
The staff are excellent in service and infrastructure is at its world class.
Overall place for marine biologist

Océanopolis is large aquarium complex with three zones, Tropical, Polar and Brittany. The tanks are amongst the best I have seen beautifully lit and maintained. The polar display was also spectacular with penguins and seals. The Brittany zone was the familiar sealife of the North Atlantic. What I liked about this aquarium was the unique presentation and points of view. You see the central large tank from four different vantage points above and below, descending in a huge lift with a view. Throughout the exhibition there were little side displays on scientific subjects. Unlike nearly all the other aquariums I have visited, all the glass was really clean and all the tanks were in use. The only minor gripes I had was the fact that there was not an obvious visitor track covering all the exhibits. For instance the otters (Sea & Eurasian) were off the main visit track and we had to double back to visit them and they were difficult to find. I am sure a lot of visitors miss them which is a pity because they are one of the highlights. As with all French attractions it has an excessively complex schedule of opening hours and is closed on Mondays. For visitors in a wheelchair there are ramps and lifts to all exhibits.

Great aquarium. Fun to go on the hottest day of the year so far. Lots of fish and stuff and there is a lot of English (but of course not as much as French).

This place is a great spot to visit on a Monday, when lots of other attractions are closed. Other days are good too! English speakers can relax, as many members of staff can understand english. There are a plethora of underwater exhibits and there are many different types of fish, and sea animals both indoors and outdoors. There is a great and budget-friendly cafeteria in the aquarium, and a cute gift shop. Definitely a great place to take family.

Actually, the very good park: large aquariums with colorful fishes and different types of sharks. Plenty of interactive games for children and informative posts. There are documentary movies of high quality but only in French. I wanted to put 5/5 but I finally 4/5 because it was a bit empty, so, looked quite abandoned.

Lots of fun. Otters are adorable. They should have more otters. The whole thing should be otters.

Had a great afternoon wandering about. Well worth the money. Accessible for a wheelchair user.
