I love this area of Paris. Its classy and less touristy the the champs or eiffel areas. The buildings are lovely to look at and indeed photograph. We stayed in this area this week and I have to say it felt very safe and romantic throughout. Definitely a good area to stay

Opera is an opera theater for shows and is also the subway station. It's easy to locate and gathering hot spot.
