Viel Zeit und eine warme Jacke mitbringen. Die Führung mit Film und Bahnfahrt durch den Bunker nimmt mindestens 3 Stunden in Anspruch. Es ist auch im Sommer max. 12 Grad Celsius kalt in der Anlage. Der Ausflug ist schlechtwettergeeignet und interessant. Für Führung in deutscher Sprache vorher tel. anmelden.

But .... The folowing tour at the personel-entrance was at 13.10 ........
So we were supposed to stay there for 1,5 hours, waiting.

In the end, we only took half the tour and left for Four-a-Chaux at Lembach, were a little less money is spend on the decor, but so much more love ......

Train tunnel is cold temperature due to being underground. Museum uses projects on "train" (it's actually a driverless trolley) that uniquely depect conditions inside the bunkers. Highly educational and historical.

Sadly there is not much else to do or see at the site, and the diner was not to breathtaking either.

On internet you are asked several times to make a reservation, so we reserved an tour at 11 ( German tour )

Es ist eine sehr spannende Anlage der Maginot-Line und einen besuch wert.
Es geht 45 m tief hinunter und ca. 500m weit in den Berg hinein ( Besucherteil) die Anlage ist ca. 5km groß. Für 12€ bekommt man 3 Std lang alles erklärt und gezeigt Frau Sonja Klein hat uns toll geführt.

4th largest fortress of the Maginot Line, everone who is interested in history should be visiting this WW II memorial.


It was a well-managed tour at the ammunition entrance for 45 minutes, and I have to be honest, it was worth-while and no money was spared to make it an Erlebnis.
