Utilisée comme aire gratuite pour camping car, très agréable, au bord de la Sarthe, et proche des commerces.

We decided to split our journey between the ferry and our southern destination by stopping in the Le Mans 'Aire'. However, the listed aire was closed and suggested we went to Parc du Port instead. It should be noted that this is a very small Aire - perhaps four units maximum. Certainly a lot of motorhomes approached during our stay and were forced to turn around as there weren't any available spaces. Adjacent to the 'aire' parking was a picnic area and children's playground. This area was very well kept and virtually deserted (on a Friday night). The adjacent river was very picturesque and made for a very pleasant location. A short walk away could be found a number of shops, bars and importantly a bakery.
As a stop over site, it is recommended. However, I would not make a special trip to it!

Agréable endroit agrémenté d'une borne sanitaire pour CC malheureusement tributaire de jetons inaccessibles le dimanche. ..
