I thought it was a good way to get an idea of the history of the city of Paris, as well as sights one would like to visit while there. I would recommend seeing the film first (offered in many languages) prior to visiting the various arrondissements.

Great for first time visitors to get a sense of the history and geography of Paris. A commentary available in numerous languages provides a structured timeline quite effective for covering 2000 years in 45 minutes. A 3D map of Paris in the lobby allows visitors to identify locations of attractions and monuments.

The show is 45mins not an hour as the sign advertises. For those interested in the evolution of Paris as a city and architectural styles used in its buildings. Very informing. Pricey for what it is. Available in a varity of languages (you listen through headphones) but the film is shown aloud in french so you have to turn your headphones up loud to hear your language. Also, a lot of the headphones are faulty so finding working ones can take a few kins.

I disagree with the person who stated it was not worth the price of a movie. Because Paris Story provides some history of the city, as well as information about several sights, seeing it first is a great idea, especially for one who has never been to Paris. This Thanksgiving will be my 10th Thanksgiving in Paris and I will also be there this spring. My friends and I will go to "Paris Story" first, then perhaps the Opera House, that is nearby and magnificent. I was fortunate to tour the Opera House one time when there was also an excellent exhibit of Massenet. Amusez bien votre temps a Paris, le meilleure ville du monde!

Expensive and not a lot to see, I was very disappointed. Costs more than going to a regular theater, even in Paris, and not even half as entertaining.

Good intro to Paris history. A starting point for what you may want to see while in Paris.
