Then 2 days turn into 3, more money for additional parts demands, the 4th day and then on the 5th day they still tried to delay. On the 5th day the insurance company would have taken the car away anyway, so low and behold they finally advised it was fixed. When we arrived we saw the person who picked us up, he works there! he took us to his own garage! We wanted to check the car over but they wouldn´t even give us the keys until we paid and signed all their forms, in french.

This garage is a scam. Our car broke down along their stretch. A person came with a tow truck and informed us that they we just passed "Ford" and they could take the car there, so we agreed.

PROBLEM erkannt und in 5 Minuten gebannt. Die's noch kostenlos 5 Sterne, mehr geht nicht. Tausch natürlich von mir selbst.

When we got there we saw the big Ford sign and so thought it was Ford. It was approx 2am. The insurance company booked us a cab and a hotel and off we went. We were called the next day and told the car the quote for the repair and informed it would be done in just 2 days. It turned out it wasn´t FORD, it was a Ford authorised repair centre run by these people.

Very helpful friendly staff! Within a few hours we were back on the road. Top!

We picked up the car, it worked and we thought we could finally start our holiday. When we stopped at a service station for a break we thought we check the oil water etc. When we opened the bonet we realised the whole engine cover was missing!! We called the insurance company and then contacted the garage but must have been blocking our phone number as we now couldn´t get through. So we got a French friend to email them and the garage replied saying the engine cover wasn´t even there! Like more people we personally checked the oil and water before we started our journey so it obviously was! Further some of the electric cables had burned as they were just left ontop of the engine (instead of being attached to the cover). Be warned.
