We accidentally stumbled upon this place after a visit to Notre Dame de la Garde. The salads there were absolutely delicious and fresh. You will huge lineup and that is always a good sign. Not cheap but worth every penny. And I agree food there is better most restaurants in Marseille.

Probably the best bakery in Marseille. I have yet to rey something that wasn't good. The bread is exceptional but the pastries are to die for. It is a tad expense.

Please be aware that you may face the rudest staff with absolutely no consideration of customer service. Management sets the bar low and treat customers like a pain in the ass, when in fact they're spending good money to purchase food. This terrible attitude trickles down to the staff who have no tolerance or patience and easily snap at customers. Go there for the food. Easily better than most restaurants with delicious pizzas and salads. The pastries are wonderful but you feel terrible after leaving. (Unless you're a well-off local who gives hefty tips)
