The camp site is great! Good plots, clean facilities, site shop and very close by shops and bars. A riverside plot is favourable for the view. The 'port' on the lake is great for the evening, providing live entertainment at weekends as well as several restaurants. The beach is fabulous too, as is the park area surrounding the lake. Idilic I would say.
So why only 2 stars? In the centre of the village, a couple of hundred metres from the camp site is the church. And it chimes. On the hour. Every hour. 24/7! Compound this with the cacophony at five minutes past seven morning and evening of multiple peeling demanding that the faithful appear (this goes on for around five minutes) and the pleasure begins to wane. It would not be so bad but for the fact that it is a single bell carrying no musical interest whatsoever.
If it were not for the f**king bells this would get the full five.
