Discriminates against AMERICANS! I had a police officer attack me on the street, detain me and yell at me several times. She made it a point to scream at me over and over that she doesn't speak english. I was harrassed and detained because I was an American. They wouldn't even let me talk. Luckily there was a reasonable woman at the station who was able to speak to me and get me out of there without further harm. I appreciate her. She even made officers take me back home, but they told me I had to plead guilty in order to leave. Worst experience of my life. I plan to follow up with the American Embassy and other sources that ensure Americans are mistreated, especially in France. I heard the rumors about France and their hate of Americans but never did I believe it was this extreme!!! What they don't know and I i didn't tell them is that I'm a journalist and when I'm done with them everyone in America and around the world will know about how They treat Americans.
