Excellent! Highly recommend this theme park. We travelled nearly 3 hours and stayed nearby in order to enjoy a whole day...I only wish we had stayed for 2! We watched The Vikings, The Romans in the Colosseum, King Arthur, The bird display and The 3 Musketeers horse show all of which were very impressive! It was a very hot day and the show's (except for the horse display) were all outside with no cover, so be prepared with sun cream and a hat (or umbrella if its raining!) Our group ranged from 4 to over 50 and there was something for everyone. The park is very large and you will do a lot of walking so wear suitable shoes. We left at around 6pm for a dip in our pool and a bite to eat before going back for the evening light and water show which was fantastic!! Great place and we will return.

Fantastic place. Get there early. Take a picnic and if possible download the showtimes in advance so you have your day planned before you arrive to make the most of your day. Puy De Fou is nothing like anything you'll have seen before. It's superb. Go and enjoy. Worth every penny of the entrance fee.

What can I say. It's a theme park with any attraction for the children. Although they were delighted the whole day. If you go visiting the "Puy du Fou" you need 2 days (or 3 if you can) and of course sleep in one of the park's resorts. Your child will love sleeping in a Castle, a Renaissance Castle, a Siege camp, a Roman villa or the Clovis house on pilo.
Yes eating in the park is costly but at least it's fresh and good. I don't say anything about the show but I believe that being named 2 times in a row "Best Theme Park in the World" should be enough.

Loved this place. Been a good few years since my visit. Totally realistic

All shows are outstanding live performances. Much more entertaining and educating than other amusement parks. Excellent value for the fee. The hotels in the park are roomy and have good restaurants.

Brilliant been twice now will go again. Use the park app to plan your shows. Need three day pass to get everything done at a leisurely pace. Can be very busy in summer. 5☆

Absolutely one of the best parcs I have been too. Itsall in French but the shows are phenomenal. As well as the food quality, and friendliness. Super clean.

Don't hesitate, visit the "Puy du Fou".

The productions, staging and action are spectacular, hence the reason this park has been awarded the top park in Europe to visit. You have to stay for the night show to really appreciate this place.

So much fun for the family. Shows are all in French but didn't matter. Its the crazy costumes, sets and action that count. English park map and great signage for getting around. We did the park in two days with an overnight stay. Highly recommend that so you can enjoy the evening show without children melting down. Emotion pass was worth the 10 Euros as we just showed up 15 minutes before the main shows and got seating in the reserved area. All the shows were very well executed. Food was fine but uninspired. Bring in some yourself if you can.

Wonderful place.
The plus: really authentic. The nature. The way it is setup and the decor is really authentic. The shows are really well made and they too are incredibly well done. The stunts are real. The actors put themselves in tremendous positions to make the shows genuine. Surprisingly few visible safety systems make the shows look like they are totally real. The system is good because while one waits for 30m or sometimes 45m the show lasts 30m and one doesn't feel like one has waited 45m for a 5m ride like in Disneyland. The whole experience was tremendous. A whole day isn't enough. One needs two. But after a day we didn't feel like we had wasted it waiting.
The cons: the overly political and religious propaganda in several of the shows (Vikings, Musketeers and Roman Arena). If you don't understand French then you won't be too concerned, other than bizarre appearance of bishops and cardinals. It is the only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star. It is just too much. Feels like some covert advertising for some other messages. Which is a pity.
Some tips: we went with 2 kids 6 and 3 years old. For the three year old it wasn't that great. Too much too watch, not enough to do. I would recommend older kids.
Food: the food is way better than Disneyland. But really slow to deliver. Two options, buy the sandwiches they sell during the shows, or bring your own. There are plenty of areas where you can eat your own food and it is totally OK to do.
You'll be walking a lot on dusty paths, I would recommend closed comfortable shoes.
