Not much to do in the park, but there is a small playroom for children and a playground, that our 2,5 year old son really liked. The beach is only a 5 min drive away. Houlgate (after the season) is a sleepy town, but there are some decent restaurants.

Great location. Most apartments have a sea view and view on the small town Houlgate. The layout of the 1 bedroom apartment was spacious, with lots of cupboard storrage. Great with one or two small children.

Cadre très agréable et calme. Situé non loin de la plage et du front de mer de Houlgate. Conception fonctionnelle et excellente literie.

Excellent self catering for couples at an affordable prices (if booked through the right sites). Note that concierge is not 24 hours. Gaining access to your accommodation after hours is easy though. Pet friendly, walking distance from town and clean pool.

We particularly liked Cité de la Mer, Utah Beach, Bayeux and the Batterie Longues sur mer.

We read some bad reviews, mostly with regard to hygiene. And although it wasn't the most clean apartment we've seen, it was certainly not as bad as we feared. The kitchen was really well equipped and clean. The sofa was old and sticky. We only used it as a bed with clean sheets. The floors felt as if they weren't properly cleaned in quite a while.

Lieu paisible et bien arborée
Les appartements sont top, la décoration est simple mais avec des matériaux de qualité.
Les différents espaces de vie sont fonctionnels

The place is OK, nice city and landscape, nice swimming pool. The staff is very nice. But it's far from the beach (take your car) and rooms are a little bit small.

Normandy is a great place to stay, with lots of interesting sites to visit. Especially for people who are interested in WW2. Most well known landing sites are located 1,5 hour drive from Houlgate. With Sword beach and Caen being the closest.

The houses were basic but ok, it was not to crowded and the view was very nice. Standard vacation home accommodation.
