Nice campsite, but some issues. This is quite a nice campsite and we had a mostly pleasant stay. However, there were some issues that some would consider serious. Firstly, the evening entertainment at times was absolutely deafening and is housed in a circus-type tent. The whole natural eco-ambience of the site in the evenings was disturbed by this. I would suggest a purpose-built sound clad building to alleviate this problem so families who like the singing can enjoy that aspect, and others wishing to sit outside their unit in the evening after a day of activity can do so without the noise intrusion. A lot of the foliage, whilst very nice, also damaged a motorhome trying to gain access to their pitch when turning into the terrace for their location. We also witnessed somebody with their caravan in a great deal of difficulty trying to move it out onto the road to hitch up. Finally, we witnessed a cyclist knocking a child over as they were going far too fast. When I stated this fact the cyclist said that the site electric vehicles went fast also so maybe everybody has to adopt the site maximum speed limit, including site staff ?
These issues aside, the rest of the site was very nice. A lovely pool complex, and a fantastic inflatable slide for the children. 10 amp electricity also a big plus for a French campsite. Beautiful views out across the lake, we really enjoyed that. Nice shop, nice take away, very good facilities block.

Great camping. Perfect for kids and family. The campground area is huge. There are facilities for just about every recreational activity(i.e. basketball, football, tennis, paddle boarding, archery). Indoor and outdoor pool. Kiddy pool, jacuzzi, sauna. We stayed in bungalows which were simple, clean and comfortable. The beach was a 15min drive away. I highly recommend bringing family and friends. We'll be returning!!

Welcoming family campsite. Had a lovely weeks camping trip at Le Col Vert. Booking process was easy ( including later addition of fridge), warm welcome on arrival, excellent service at restaurant, helpful information centre, attentive lifeguards, clean facilities, well stocked shop, good sized camping pitches and lots of activities for adults and kids alike.
