This seems like the biggest and best sporting goods store in Chamonix. It seemed to have more selection of most brands than the brand-specific stores just down the street. If you only have time to go to one store, go here.

I spent 2 weeks in Chamonix and this is the spot to come to as the gear is selected to be the best and is priced accordingly. There are bargains to be found now and then.

A shop where you can practicilly find everything from hiking gear up to trad climbing gear. And the staff is kind and very helpfull.

Efficient and professional staff. Went there to rent crampon shoes, got what I needed quick (12 euros each). Done.

Biggest choice of mountaineering equipment, clothing, etc I've seen in town with expert advice and friendly service. Keep it this way guys!

Lots of great outdoor kit, but expensive. Good place to go if you turn up and suddenly realise you don't have that essential but bit of kit!

Very helpful staff. Probably not the cheapest place but by far not the most expensive and has everything you need under one roof
