Brioche: They have a popular brioche, more akin to a giant sticky bun, but less sticky. It was good, and I'd get it again.

La baguette classique est beaucoup trop farineuse, on sent la dose de levure trop élevée, à en piquer la langue ! Les pains sont très moyens je trouve, texture et goût à améliorer...
Pâtisseries bonnes mais plutôt chères pour la quantité proposée.

On their baguette: The dough is well-aerated, and the flavor is right. The crust is a little tougher than we like, and the inside is a little chewier than we like, but after having tried at least a half a dozen patisserie in the Leopold-Ville Vieille, so far, Stef's baguette is the best we have found.

Despite our criticisms, Stef is still, at least so far, our favorite bakery in the area. I go their every morning to fetch our breakfast breads.

Tarts/Quiche: We liked their pate torte. There other torte, which has more of a pate de compagne filling, was not as good as their traditional pate torte. Their mini-quiche were very salty.

Un bel endroit cette petite boulangerie/pâtisserie,
un excellent choix de produits que ce soit en pâtisserie, boulangerie, traiteur.....
La boulangère est très agréable, ce qui ne gâche rien

A lovely bakery, perhaps a little expensive, but delicious. Friendly staff.

Croissant: The outside of Stef's croissant is like the inside of a good croissant. Their croissant doesn't have the crispy/flaky crust. No mess at the table when you eat one. But I need the texture and flavor of that mess!

Toujours un très bon accueil dans cette boulangerie ! Les produits de qualité qui sont proposés sont aussi esthétiques qu'excellents !
+ Prix très abordables pour étudiants
