It was OK. They put on a lot of effort to let you know how life was at the time in the bunker but I was missing a bit the huge gun (which was demolished in 1947 :(

A genuine surprise. We added this stop on a road trip up the coast. We didn't know too much about it, but the outside looked interesting. As we went through the bunker we learned a lot about it's relevance and it's significance in the war. A lot of the "lesser" stories are not told in high school history classes and movies, but are of equal importance. As a Canadian I was shocked to get to the end and learn Canada's role in seizing the batterie. Well worth the stop.

I have rarely seen such an extensive and lovingly designed exhibition. Unfortunately it is not allowed to shoot photos within the bunker.

An impressive independent museum. The battery is well worth a visit, you get a good view of life in WW2 for the German sailors.

Well worth the very short drive from Calais
great museum with a lot to see, very interesting the gun must of been huge as one of the shells is still present and stands 6ft tall

Non può mancare la visita al museo. Tutt'intorno si potranno vedere i resti di altri bunker in parte distrutti.
