We had returned just after Christmas for an 11.45 train and only just made it having arrived in plenty of time. We had to queue for a long time to pass through both French and British border control - why?

The person who had this bright idea needs to be sacked or Eurotunnel will lose an enormous amount of custom.

Please return to how it used to be which was a faultless, brilliant system.

How very sad to see such a deterioration.

I would like to know why they didn't give back my wallet with all my credit cards,Yesterday I was stopping with my bus to have a break in "Bounjour", Gas Station and unfortunately I lost that and when i discovered my awful mistake it was too late, I called on phone they answered and told me they had it but when the next day I recalled them and I asked to send my important wallet at my address.... guess??? nobody spoke anymore the english language.. I am very disappointed.

We have used Eurotunnel for many years and have been great fans. However, someone had the bright idea on the French side of diverting drivers into the duty free areas in order to spend money. End result, chaos. Such a pity as this was a brilliant service but for the past 3+ months it has been terrible. Returning to the UK just after the New Year our son had to wait 5 hours from arriving to check in for a 9.15pm train. The traffic was queued onto the motorway and there were no facilities, men, women and children were having to get out of their cars to relieve themselves down the banks to the side of the tarmaced areas!! There was no food or drink available.

Tip for all UK motorists using Diesel powered vehicles. Save money and fuel up in France. Always stop there for fuel, Excellent if fully operational, but unfortuntely there is always something not working, pumps, gents toilets etc.

expensive but has what you need to get going. much nicer and better stops further along your route
