Beautiful viewing of the tower & a good place to take photos - especially group photos with the tower in the background. There are guys hawking cheap Eiffel tower souvenirs, but they are easily avoided if you're firm & keep moving. At night street musicians come to play & sing. The tower sparkles on the hour, but the feelings of party & camaraderie last the whole evening!

Amazing view of the Eiffel tower from here. Nice restaurants and metro stop nearby. Lively place, not too crowded. We would probably visit again in the same trip.

Its nice place to chill in the sun and watch people and the Eiffel tower. Be careful however with the gypsy folks around. Don't be silly and gamble with them. After sitting in the park for one hour and watching them carefully, it is easy to spot the organization and the different groups, how they swap roles to get lame tourists to play their game and of course loose money.

You can then watch the hourly display of dazzling lights on the structure.

It would be better if tourists start to behave : when you visit our country, please remember to keep your trash with you, not on the ground. And it does not cost much more to dress elegantly...

Attention! Many tourists do not know this is the best place to view Tour Eiffel at night. Take the Metro get off at trocadero follow the signs for Tour Eiffel. Come out to your left and voila you are face to face with the majesty of the Tour Eiffel at eye level.

A great place to relax in Paris and take in the beauty of the Eiffel tower - also if you want to propose to your significant other - this is the place to do it. Wait till 10 pm. The scene will be all ablaze with light from the tower. Trust me - it works :)

There are food vendors with reasonable prices at the square.

We walked here from the trocadéro station and found many great book stands and street merchants along the way. The garden is beautiful with a manicured lawn, shrubs and trees and an amazing display of 20 water cannons! Go during a summer evening to see them lit up in various colors. This is the best place to see the eiffel tower, so bring your camera to really capture the moment!

You can lie,play,chit chat and have fun.

Magnificent! From there we have a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. But better go when the weather is nice (it was in November) and during the day. Because in the evening there are rodents that walk there ...

A nice place to spend time with your near and dear friends.

Sometimes hawkers are selling wine and chilled beer. However the place is under surveillance of police.

Oh. My. Goodness. The best vantage point to see Eiffel Tower in all its glory day or night. As with many other tourist spots, watch out for pick pockets.

Very lively place. Worth spending some time here if you are visiting the Eiffel tower. Since it's on the rare side of Eiffel it is comparatively less crowded. Perfect for clicking pictures with the tower. Has a public pool where kids can play and you can dip your feet and relax. Very lively in the evenings.

This is a fantastic place for a nice view of the Eiffel Tower especially at the square (Place de Trocadéro). If you go very early around sunrise, the place was not so crowded. Many people do fashion photo ops and video fashion books here even through the cold of winter. Shortly within an hour of sunrise the square becomes very crowded so plan your timing.

The place is majestic and beautiful of course, but I found it in a state of abandon on an early Sunday morning. Empy bottles and garbage everywhere. It was not nice.

This is the ideal location to relax in Paris, enjoy some hot chocolate or coffee in the winter months and watch the Eiffel Tower illuminate as the sun sets.
