Dessert was good but service was very bad. Slow, staff were not very friendly, and would rather eat somewhere that I would be happier. Pay so much to feel frustrated! There is café pouchkine nearby that is just as good dessert with better service

Very nice looking, very good tasting.
But service is at a super low level, no english at all and sooo pricey! Paid 6.50€ for a standard coffee + 6.50€ for a tea!

The shop has also very historic value. It is build around a still standing tower dated from king Philippe August. It is the most preserved one to date. Additionally this location used to be the printing company of révolutionnaire journaliste Marat.

The real thing you will not want to miss if you eat here is a visit to the chocolate shop (attached) while you wait for your food. It's easily the best one we visited with fresh and inventive takes on traditional chocolate.

The Story really turned bad when the waiter started verbally attacking us because he believed we did not order but just block their seats! A second waiter helped out... but the situation was a disaster.

Worst customer service ever! Be careful if you want to avoid humiliation !

Nice place for a good meal in Paris that is not too heavy. We got the 2 course meal and shared a dessert. The service was a little slow and they did not check to see if we needed anything else (another glass of wine?) but that is par for the course in Paris.

The food/ pastries were excellent. The coffee quality was poor (6,50 € for a bad quality cappucino...).

So better take the excellent pastries for "take away" and skip the horrible service.

The service in the restaurant is as the food - perfect. From the reception to the farewell at the end of the meal, the service is polite, measured and very professional. Our server engaged with us, recommending wine and meal selection with ease and knowledge. Very rare to have such a service in Paris. Great impression! The food was an explosion of taste - my main meal was beef cooked to perfection with an amazing sauce; the dessert - a chocolate souffle was accompanied by a tonka ice cream which softened the strong chocolate taste. One recommendation for improvement: my starter was a type of mozzarella cheese - great, but the tomatoes around were tasteless and somehow disappointed by the look and feel of them (not matching the upscale feel of the place whatsoever! ); for the chocolate souffle, it was extremely sweet so it will be better to provide two (rather than one) spoons of ice cream to last until the end and soften the taste. Of course those are minor remarks for otherwise impeccable experience. Highly recommended!

What better to talk about than chocolate? Especially this charming Parisian cafe-like restaurant rightfully placed on the Michelin Guide. Un Dimanche a Paris loves chocolate and uses it expertly in its recipes, savory and sweet. The ambiance was great and the food was delicious and well-presented. I love starting with a gazpacho and ending with a chocolate dessert, especially if it’s a good one. We even bought some extra chocolate creations from the boutique to keep us company. I would definitely want to go again and taste a wider range of what they have to offer.

Only been twice for a little hot chocolate and a madeleine in the take-out section, but both are to die for and I can imagine that sitting and ordering desserts would be wonderful as well. Great selection of chocolates... seems to be a good stop on anyone's trip.

On the recommendation of our foodie tour guide, I got the shot of hot chocolate. Woo hoo, it was fantastic!!! That's all I had, so I can't say anything about the rest of their offerings. It all looked delicious. But the hot chocolate was so fulfilling, I didn't want anything else. Would return just for the hot chocolate the next time I'm in Paris.

Best chocolate ever! The chocolate truffle are super tasty. Meals are also very tasty. Pricey but the quality is superb.
