Beautiful grounds, didn't stay but came here to visit. Well worth it, and situated in a very nice place.

The place is amazingly beautiful. The price of the ticket is 8 euro but it’s totally worth the money . Around the domain there are multiple hiking paths through the forest and inside there is a beautiful lake. The ruins of the old monastery are impressive as well, some of the old buildings have been transformed into restaurants and lodging facilities. You can easily spend one day enjoying the nature and when you get hungry a beautiful restaurant is available. The prices are a little higher but considering the service level and the food quality, I guess it’s quite normal.

Truly breathtaking. The grounds and land really must be visited. We attended a wedding at the event, which was one of the best I have ever been to

Amazing architecture, decor and environment. Restaurant fantastic. Food has wow factor but expensive and only 'in French' menu (as expected for high end!) Staff good but busy. Beware: cheap rooms small. Bathrooms bath only. No aircon or fans. Wifi variable (glitchy). Pool cold!

Wonderful dinner. Although service in the hotel could be much better. Staff don't pay attention to the guests or their requests or anything.
But it didn't really spoil our business weekend.

This is an amazing place, a true gem in the countryside about 40 minutes from Paris by car. The buildings and the vast park are magnificent, the hotel rooms are just a tad dated, but still very comfortable. Service is excellent throughout, and the dinner we had at the restaurant was first class.

I have discovered this place when traveled by bicycle in the Saint-Remi valley. And when I saw it i was impressed. It looks like hidden place in dark forest. Old buildings, some are partially destroyed by revolutionists...they have nice big lake with white swans. You are free to come inside, and if you'd like you even can stay there for the night.
I came back several time there....

I stay in this Abbaye every time I bring a group of artists from America. It is always the icing on the cake to my trip. The rooms are decorated in a classic old style and have a little wear and tear, but charming. The site is visually spectacular, conducive for my group of artists to paint. The staff is helpful but a little cold, giving you the feeling that they are just tolerating you. One gentleman behind the front desk, a large black man, was very warm. Also the man helping with the luggage was very kind as well. The aloof staff seems to be a consistent complaint, so in my opinion, with better management of staff and touching up of wear and tear, the Abbaye could have a 5 star rating.
