What an amazing place ! I have never seen people work so hard! Completely organised. Working as an amazing team ! And people if you are looking for affordable pieces of treasure / nostalgia /curios get along there. Cannot praise these hard working people enough !!!!!

So came after Emmaus France Lescar work camp.
It is nowhere advirtised that we need to work 8.00 AM-6.00 Pm 8 hours.
It is nowhere advirtised that we need to do heavy labour work whivh may result in injures as my friend had.
It is nowhere advisrtiesed that knowing French makes you understand what the hell you supose to do when you take instructions. We DIDNT know French.
Not even one new skill was taught to us. Or to make it clearear if you dont speak French you dont belong in this commune.
Bad experience overal with the coolest thing was on the days off when we went to the beach.
Put all these things in the Description of the program and dont misinform the people...

I only checked out the shop areas but if you're a scavenger, this is your Disney Land. A lot of it is more expensive than you'll find in smaller rural Emmaüs shops, but the quantity and range of used materials is incredible; along with the usual furniture/clothes/homewares you'll find doors, windows, old farm and industrial equipment and piles of all kinds of materials ready to be reused.

And a coffee and crepe is GOOD at the restaurant
