Plage is great. There are lots of restaurants, cafe. You can always find a clean and tidy toilet. The beach is not your ordinary sand, it's all stones.
Promenade des Anglais is gorgeous, safe, nice to run, walk, skate and so more.

Shameful service, rubbish food. Pretty much exactly what I would have expected from a beach bar save for all the glowing reviews don't buy the hype, the whole experience was very below average (and costly for the pleasure).

Perfect place to kick back and relax and enjoy the views, paradise by the sea. Good service, and lovely drinks. Yes, they are expensive but then again you're sitting in comfort on a gorgeous beach with a wonderful ambiance a few meters from the azure blue sea, and being waited on. Pure bliss.

The worst private beach in Nice.
They treat you like nothing irrespective of how much money you spend there. Probably this discriminating attitude stems from the fact some tourists don't speak French, but on the whole it is disgusting. The staff don't help you with the stroller down and up the stairs, they don't approach you with the menu for a long while and when they eventually do, they forget to bring the wine card which takes another ten minutes to arrive.
Do I need to mention the food and drinks are hugely overpriced? The seafood salad was okay, but the steak was just impossible to chew as if it was made from previously frozen meat.
And naturally all the dishes take about 30 minutes to get to the table.
On top of all the waiter confused the drinks and didn't even apologize when we pointed it out to him.
Summing up, guys - avoid this place at all costs!!

Beautiful. However the stones can make coming in and out of the water quite painful! I would definitely recommend that you take some shoes for the water.

I think it is the best beach on Promenade. It shall be renovated by the summer 2017.

Very nice beach although I am not used to a rocky beach so bring water shoes.

upscale beach restaurant and quite expensive, however it offers beatiful view of the Mediterranean ocean

The extra star is because it's on the beach.
