Rolling hills sprinkled with seemingly countless ruins of medieval castles. Lots of hiking and sightseeing in a less traveled area. Spotty cell reception, few hotels, and most restaurants are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesday. Plan ahead bring cheese and wine :-)

The whole Vosges area is beautiful throughout the year. There are many many places to discover and during the winter months you can do there skiing. Both- cross country and downhill

Le château ne se visite pas c'est le lieu des bureaux du PNRVN !
Mais si vous avez l'occasion d'aller à des conférences gratuites dans la grande salle située tout en haut vous pourrez bénéficier d'une vue absolument splendide !
