Ploudalmézeau, Bretagne
Ploudalmézeau est une commune française du département du Finistère, en région Bretagne. Elle appartient à la Communauté de communes du Pays d'Iroise et comprend deux pôles, l'un rural autour du bourg, l'autre maritime à Portsall, avec un port dans un aber. La côte se caractérise par un littoral préservé ; de petites criques, des dunes et de grandes plages de sable comme celle de Treompan. Cette côte, bordée par la Manche, a connu une catastrophe maritime et écologique avec le naufrage du pétrolier Amoco Cadiz à Portsall en mars 1978.
