I'm so sorry I didn't get the name of the man that helped us, but this agency went above and beyond to help out my daughter and me. My 9 year old daughter accidentally dropped our airbnb apartment key down the dropbox at the Avis central station. Someone from the TGV Avis location DROVE over to help us out. They are amazing and we are so grateful.

J ai fait une location d une Opel corsa pour 4 jours pour un montant de 203,78 Euros et j ai été débité sur ma carte de 451 Euros sans aucune raison autre qu un plein de 10 litres d essence à compléter. Je n en ai eu connaissance que dans le train qui me ramène vers Paris . Conseil , vérifiez lorsque vous ramenez votre voiture la cohérence du débit qui va être opéré sur votre CB. Je vais probablement passer quelques jours avant d avoir gain de cause , si je l obtiens .....

THIS AGENCY IS SCAMMER!!!!!
HE said "We have only 250km plan" - this is TOTALLY a lie.
Later I looked out AVIS has "unlimited plan", but they cheated me.
AT LAST I HAVE TO PAY 300euros per day! CRAZY
HE SAID 139 euros at first time.(HE SAID IT IS LAST PRICE)

NEVER USE
NEVER PAY
NEVER GO THERE.

This site shows the wrong position of Avis rental office.
Also, it is impossible to reach Avis Avignon Gare by phone, or Avis France by phone after hours.

I had a similar experience with this location. I rented a car with multiple areas of surface damage. I received a large bill a few days after I returned the car (there was no employee available to check in the car). I think AVIS gives financial incentives to employees for this kind of scamming of unsuspected renters. This is my first and last time of renting from AVIS. I suggest SIXT as a much better company to rent from in Europe.

Terrible! After we returned from our trip, we found an unexpectedly large charge on our credit card. We tried to contact Avis Customer Support by email to inquire about the amount and never heard back. So we decided to contact our bank to dispute the payment. Almost 2 months later, they FINALLY responded to the bank and claimed that we had damaged a mirror on the car. Neither my husband nor I recall an event which would have generated the damage. It's very interesting that on the same day we returned the car, they not only charged us the rental fee, but also the repair fee (without any documentation from a repair company)! If we did cause the damage and the charge was legitimate, why did they ignore our initial inquiry? Why did it take almost 2 months to respond to the bank? How convenient of them to scam unsuspecting international travellers.

1. Carefully inspect the car and take time stamped photos of every area of damage
2. Demand the employee to inspect the car after you return it and give you a final bill at that point.
3. DO NOT RENT FROM AVIS!

Massive queues. Excessive waiting time in the hot sun with no water. Review updated 1hr later and still not even half way...
