A couple days later, I rose around the lake on one of their leisure bikes with my son on a child seat on the back. The seat was free of charge, as was the helmet for him (I had my own) and the staff were incredibly helpful setting him up in the seat, which I'd not used before.

We hired 5 bikes through Basecamp and had a great few days in the mountains, Adam gave us tips on where to go and what to do which was really helpful. The coffee break at their new cafe was excellent. We will definitely go back next year!

Un grand merci à Basecamp pour la location des vélo. Nous avons pris les Cannondale Quick à 24€ la journée. Accueil sympathique, vélo neuf et prix abordable. C'était parfait.

If I had not taken my own bike, it would be the only place in Annecy I would hire from.
The bikes are Cannondale, which I sell so I know their good! Nice hybrids and electric bikes.
And some really wicked 3T gravel bikes.
The shop looks slick and the service was excellent.

All followed by possibly the greatest cinnamon bun I've ever had in the Basecamp cafe, and it adds up to a fantastic experience!

I took one of their cannondale roadies out for a half day which was plenty of time to tackle the col de la forclaz and col de l'epine on what was a stunning morning in the Alps. The bike was in perfect condition, set up how I wanted with the right pedals etc.

Petit café agréable avec un accueil sympathique ! Il me semble que matériel de location est de qualité même si nous n'avons pu organiser de sortie vélo, je pense y revenir!

Fantastic for serious riding in the mountains and for a leisurely trip around the lake with the family, Basecamp really does do it all, with a big smile and tons of local knowledge.

Great spot for lunch. We had a lovely salad, sandwich and coffee - all was fresh and delicious. Lovely view out of the window.
