The breakfast is good but very oriented around sweet sugary foods like cakes, fruits and jams. I would prefer if there were more protein-based foods.

Nice hotel but the rooms for two persons are not equipped for two. There is only one chair in the room and one bench that is suitable for one suitcase.
Ventilation is hardly working but there are mosquito protection curtains for the window so the window can be open during the night.

The staff is really nice and helpful!

We stayed for 4 days in July and had a fantastic time.
rooms were very comfy and clean and the food was excellent.
The owners and staff were also first class and would have no second thoughts about staying there again.
hotel is more 4 star than 3 star in my opinion

We were a group of 7 adults who stayed for three nights. We all agreed that the hotel was EXCELLENT: clean, spacious, comfortable rooms and a wonderful, generous, breakfast buffet. Dinner was superb: the food was freshly and imaginatively cooked, there was a varied but not too large a menu, and very good and reasonably priced wines from all of France's regions. We commented on the friendliness and efficiency of the owners and other staff.
It is of course most conveniently situated for any touring of the Somme battlefields/memorials.

We stayed 22 June 2010. We found the room adequate and clean. There was plenty of parking. There was no lift so we had to carry our bags up the stairs. The food in the dining room was extremely good and we were glad that we decided to 'eat in'. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a good base to visit the Australian War Memorial at VB and all the WWI sites in the Somme area.

The food was delicious and I especially loved the breakfast buffet, lots of different options. Ended up staying here for two nights because we loved the hotel. If I'm ever back in France, I will definitely make sure I make the drive over to Albert just to stay in this hotel.

This is easily the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The decor was stunning and from the road it looks like a castle. The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable with big windows allowing for lots of air to come in at night. Honestly, this hotel was better than staying at home.
