The fruit de Mer had been frozen and the crab was stinking. We had to order four different wines because they had no stock........main courses well over cooked,the service was terrible....what a Disaster!

The Brasserie du Sillon has a great view of the water and patrons can appreciate the significant extent that tides have on St Malo. We had one of our best meals ever at the Sillon. The wine list was extensive with price points for most diners. We opted for the Grand Plateau Fruits de Mer. Pricey, as expected, but excellent value and lots of top level sea food including lobster, langoustines, oysters (18), crabs, bullots and crevettes galore. The piece de resistance was a plate of profiterols for desert that were judged better than what my chef-wife has made. That says something. Go there for a memorable evening but be prepared for the bill which was EUR 150 for two including a bottle of wine.

Great restaurant. Medium to high price range, but can be done reasonably if desired, and still a fantastic meal!!! highly recommend. Also, it's a good excuse to go to the Grande Plage and leave the fortified city!

This place had great atmosphere and great food. I had the opportunity to try the Ray, and it was excellent. Is right on the beach and it had excellent views. I would definitely go there again.
