This venue was recommended by my Aunt as she enjoyed it so much on a visit years ago. We found it enjoyable as a place to rest our weary feet and to watch the activity around us.

For the coffee and the service, it’s cool, the location is great but the prices were tourist style.

Food itself was decent but not worth raving over.

I wouldn’t say the service was rude per se but it was pretty incompetent, which is quite annoying when combined with arrogant looking waiters who act like they are big shots when they can’t do their job properly.

My boyfriend and I visited yesterday and it was so great! I wanted to go after hearing about this cafe in Gossip Girl. The hot chocolate was SO GOOD. Our waiter was such a sweetheart. I got a teacup and saucer from the boutique and I am so excited to bring Cafe de Flore home with me! Thanks for being so welcoming and nice to us mostly-non-French speakers.

As vegetarians, we managed to do okay. I ordered the potage St. Germain (pea soup) and my partner ordered the endives roquefort. I notice they do have vegetarian omelettes as well (we do eat eggs as we are not vegan). The flavor was bland, though the meal was satisfying enough.

If in the area again and need a rest, I would not hesitate stopping by again. David B is excellent server with good humour! And the location is great!

Our server Roman immediately brought us English Language Menus. Roman was very engaging and answered all of our questions. My wife and I each settled on salads. She ordered something akin to a Cobb .Salad. It was a large salad that my wife was unable to finish. The only negative was that it was overly dressed. I order a salad that came with thinly sliced parmigiana cheese and a prosciutto type ham. My dressing was a flavored olive oil in a small bottle so that I was able to dress it myself. I enjoyed it very much.

Sarte was visiting this cafe, it is popular that at that times writers were coming to this place. There is just little pictures that you can see them. Like Sartre mentioned, waiter who was serving to us, was like a roman character, we liked a lot. But tea was not good enough, and expensive..

It took three or four requests from the waiter to get the bill.

Hot chocolate was good, but when we sat down and ordered only hot chocolate you could tell the waiter was over it. It's a place popular with tourists, so you would think they'd be kinder to them.

skip it !
Simply isn't what is it,
Price is outrageous The food is just bad and doesn't it say "coffee" on the name? Well it's the worst coffee I've had so far in Paris (and the coffee is not that good to begin with) but really the worst part was the service, you will get no smile even though you going to wait forever.

I don't know if there was a separate dinner menu but some of the prior reviews that I read seemed to confirm no separate dinner menu. I would recommend Cafe de Flore for lunch but would hold off any dinner recommendations at this time.

We went there for lunch. It's located on a Main Street in the Latin Quarter. There is a large outside area and decided to sit facing the street.

This place started off well but rapidly declined after the first order was taken by the waiter. I ordered a cafe viennois which arrived as a glass of cream and an empty coffee cup. Took quite a while to get the attention of a waiter to get some actual coffee in it.

Nice atmosphere, good location, it's more about attracting tourists than actual food and it's quite expensive

This place was recommended to us by the desk clerk at our hotel. She said the food was excellent. I read the reviews and took her recommendation with a grain of salt

Maybe not 5 stars for the food but it is the perfect place is sit down and people watch! Right next to a busy, busy roundabout, you will not be bored here. The wait staff was great, food and wine decent. But 5 stars for the atmosphere at the "Midnight in Paris" cafe!
