Service was slow. Food was decent.

Walking back to the train station we stopped here for dinner. A family of 2 adults and 3 kids well catered for. Delicious starter and a cheese plate for dessert for me. A good kiss menu and great art deco styling. A good drinks list.

Perhaps the worst service I've received in all of France. The waiter forgot to bring my drink and only remembered after he served the table in front of me and noticed I had an empty glass. Then he forgot to serve my food again and only remembered after he served his next table. When my plate arrived, my entrecôte was already cold and severely undercooked. My salad was an entire head of lettuce un chopped. For the price, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. You can find much better establishments throughout Bordeaux. No respect for the client. I complained to the waiter and told him the meal was awful, in French no less. I was still obliged to pay my ticket despite the fact I didn't eat any of that disgusting meal. I would avoid this place at all cost if you're on vacation.

Nice place, if you're as unlucky as I was, and go to Bordeaux on a cloudy day. Its not too expensive and just fine.

Had the set lunch menu, it was delicious, the waiter was very good at explaining the 3 course & choices of wines in English & during the long lunch always made an effort to make sure all was well ,even though they were very busy. Thank you.It was a good start to Bordeaux.

This place is located opposite Burger King and KFC and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Popped in for a late lunch to be greeted with welcoming Art Deco styling. I had the daily special citrus pork and my friend had the Fisherman's Hotpot. The latter was fresh and filling, the pork was absolutely delicious, served with a vegetable mousse and potatoes. Pudding was Chef's Cafe Gourmand which festured a generous areay of rrally good mini desserts, and their "famous" profterole. This was the biggest profiterole I ever saw, epic in fact, and it absolutely deserves fame. Genuinely a lovely lunch with multilingual staff who were friendly and efficient. Would happily return any time.

Really friendly, authentic and atmospheric. The waiter was very kind about my bad French and still gave me a glass of wine instead of the cup I had mistakenly asked for, plus a free plate of olives. Nice house red, too, but after all, this is Bordeaux!
